Julius Berger Nigeria Plc (Julius Berger) is working to provide aid to communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic through the distribution of food relief packages.
On April 16, 2020, the Company launched its “Food for our Communities” campaign with the donation of one thousand food relief packages to the Local Government Areas of Apapa and Lagos Island in Lagos State. Each package containing a 10kg bag of rice, cooking oil, packets of Indomie noodles and sachets of tomato sauce, Milo and milk.
The Food for our Communities campaign will continue with consecutive donations of food relief packages planned to cover additional Local Government Areas within Lagos State and into the Federal Capital Territory.
Julius Berger recognizes that the Covid-19 pandemic has increased hardships for many. The company will continue to provide support to those on the front lines tackling the virus and to communities in need.
