In a pivotal move aimed at redefining Nigeria’s maritime and logistics sector, Julius Berger Services Nigeria (JBSN) conducted a strategic courtesy visit to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) leadership in Lagos. This meeting underscored a shared commitment to fostering innovation, achieving operational excellence, and promoting sustainable growth within the country's port ecosystem.
The JBSN delegation was led by Board Chairman Mr. Ernest Chukwudi Ebi, MFR, FCB, FIOD; Director of Administration Dr. Abdulaziz Isa Kaita FNIOB, SFIPMA; and General Manager JBSN, Capt. Rainer Jensch. They received a warm welcome from NPA's Managing Director, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, PhD, along with Executive Director of Engineering & Technical Services, Engr. Ibrahim Abba Umar, FNSE, and Executive Director of Marine & Operations, Engr. Olalekan Badmus.
Key discussion topics included the alignment with NPA’s master plan for top-tier port development, potential amendments to concession agreements to foster sustainable long-term collaboration, and strategies for rehabilitating essential port assets to modernize infrastructure.
A significant emphasis was also placed on the growth opportunities within the Warri Port corridor, as both parties assessed ways to enhance commercial activities, improve operational efficiency, and extend business ventures in the region.
