In a remarkable demonstration of corporate citizenship, PrimeTech Design and Engineering Nigeria Ltd has once again delivered on its promise to the Karmo-Sabo community with the official handover of 50 student furniture sets and 3 teacher desk sets to LEA Primary School, Sabo-Karmo, Idu.
The donation marks the latest phase in a multi-year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that began in 2024 with the renovation of a classroom block, followed by the distribution of literacy packs and insecticide-treated nets to improve both learning outcomes and pupil health.
“PrimeTech’s gesture is not just generous, it’s transformational,” said Mr. Jonathan Auta, Headmaster of LEA Primary School, Sabo-Karmo. “Our pupils now have furniture that supports their learning, and our teachers can deliver lessons in a more organised and comfortable environment. We are deeply grateful.”
The newly delivered furniture will ease congestion in classrooms, support improved posture and focus among pupils, and foster a more conducive teaching and learning atmosphere overall.
“As parents, we are elated to see a private sector partner follow through on its word,” stated Mr. Ishaq Yunusa, Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). “PrimeTech has shown that they are a very caring company. Indeed, community upliftment is possible when promises are backed by action. Our children are the true beneficiaries of this laudable CSR effort by PrimeTech. This is by all means commendable.”
This CSR milestone reflects PrimeTech’s unwavering dedication to sustainable development, educational support, and community well-being. The company has consistently demonstrated that its social investments are not token gestures, but part of a long-term strategy to build environments that empower the next generation.
“This donation is a symbol of respect for our community and an investment in our future,” added Mr. Bashiru Musa, community leader and Sarkin Hausawa of Sabo-Karmo. “We thank PrimeTech for doing so much for our community. Only a few companies will do as much as PrimeTech has done here. We want to thank them for honouring their words. This school looks good now and our children are happy to come to learn here. We are very grateful.”
Speaking at the event on behalf of the company’s management, Engr. Honesty Onyeyela, Head of Infrastructure Department at PrimeTech, reaffirms the organisation’s enduring commitment to impactful social investments:
“At PrimeTech, our CSR initiatives are designed to create lasting value. We believe that every child deserves a dignified learning environment, and every teacher a proper working space. Today’s donation is a continuation of our promise to invest where it matters most—in people, in education, and in the future.”
Other PrimeTech representatives present at the handover ceremony included Mr. Arild Schoettle, Technical Advisor – Architecture; Mr. Michael Ashofor, Brand Public Relations Officer; Miss Whitney Anyanwu, Document Control Officer; and Mrs. Happiness Moses of Julius Berger’s Media Relations Office, reflecting the continued synergy between both organisations in delivering impactful community engagement.
