Nigeria’s leading design and engineering firm, PrimeTech last weekend honoured eight long-serving staff members in an atmosphere of pomp and fanfare.
The ceremony, held at the company’s Abuja headquarters, recognised the contribution of these deserving award recipients. The award recipients – a distinguished group of engineers, an architectural specialist, and two administrative staff were honoured for their loyalty, sustained excellence and exceptional contributions to the company’s growth.
The Company Chairman, Hon. Engr. Jafaru Damulak, who presented the Long Service Award plaques to the awardees, expressed his appreciation for their unflinching commitment to the company over the decade. He encouraged all staff members to remain dedicated to the continuous success and growth of the organisation.
Earlier, during an indoor session with all staff, the Chairman commended employees for their top-notch performance and excellent project delivery. He noted that their output is reflected in the company’s strong financial performance and that the Board is pleased.
The company’s General Manager, Engr. Christian Moessmer, thanked all personnel for their productivity, attributing the organisation’s sterling business performance to their immense contributions. Moessmer acknowledged the prevailing economic challenges in the country and how these have affected management’s effort to ensure optimal staff satisfaction. He appreciated team members for continually giving their best. He went on to announce that improved welfare packages for staff would commence the following month, to the delight of everyone, assuring them that better days are ahead.
Also present at the event was Julius Berger Nigeria Plc’s Managing Director, Engr Dr. Peer Lubasch, a former General Manager at PrimeTech and current board member. Reiterating the positive feedback from clients, he encouraged staff to maintain their commitment to quality and excellence – values for which the company has long been known. He also addressed young professionals within the organisation, urging them to tap into the wealth of knowledge and experience within PrimeTech. He extended heartfelt congratulations to all honourees and reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to nurturing talent, celebrating dedication, and supporting employees in building successful and fulfilling careers.
Accompanying the Julius Berger Managing Director were the company’s Director of Administration, Dr Abdulaziz Isah Kaita; and its Group Human Resource Manager, Mr. Olorunfemi Ojomo.
This year’s 10-Year Long Service Awardees include: Engr. Honesty Onyeyela, FNSE; Engr. Oluwole Akande; Engr. Temitayo Oni; Engr. Chiamaka Olatunji; and Engr. Ejike Eze. Others include Miss Helen Solomon, Mr. Babatunde Agboola, and Mrs. Titilayo Jimoh
